_ Shanna Stolhandske-Dale, P.Ag., grew up on a grain farm near Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1997. After graduating, she moved to Watrous and worked for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Research and Development Farm. From there Shanna moved back to Swift Current to take a job at the Semiarid Prairie Agricultural Research Center, in the Plant Pathology department and began farming with her husband and her parents. Currently, Shanna and her family own and operate Seed Solutions Seed Labs, a government accredited seed lab. At Seed Solutions Seed Labs, Shanna helps producers determine their best seed choices by providing germination, vigour, disease and many other seed related services. Shanna, with her family and her parents, is involved in their 5000 acres farm, growing red spring wheat, durum, field peas, lentils and flax. Shanna actively helps in all areas of the farms, operating the seeder, combine, and semi truck, as well scouting fields. In 2010, Shanna was awarded the Outstanding Young Agrologist Award by the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
At Seed Solutions Seed Labs, our goal is to provide the client with accurate information, in a timely manner, following the rules and ordinances put forth by the CFIA. Seed Solutions Seed Labs and its personnel are committed to testing and reporting results in a professional manner, working with the client to ensure their needs are met. The importance of confidentiality is recognized and taken seriously by Seed Solutions Seed Labs and its personnel. Testing will be conducted, within reason, on a "same day arrival/planting" basis.
